![]() They said that security confirmed it was the room across from us and issued them the written warning and smoking fee. The next day we continued to smell it in our bathroom and unit so we went to the front desk again. He then apologized to them for disrupting whatever they were doing. They finally answered and the security let them know that they had received multiple noise complaints from that room and to try to keep it down. They were refusing to open the door or they didn't hear him knocking because of how loud they were. Around midnight, we heard security knocking on a door in the hallway so we took a look and saw that they were attempting to speak with the occupants in that room across the hall. That night, we were smelling it again and also noticed that the occupants across the hall from us were being very loud and disruptive. We reported this to the front desk and they replied that security would look into the matter. We started smelling a strong odor of marijuana that was permeating into the hallway just outside of our door. Ended up switching rooms 3 times and finally landed in the bigger condo portion of the lodge. Never received a text message that room was ready and had to just end up trying key to see if it worked.įirst room was dirty with bird poop all over patio and outdoor furniture. Only one person could go in to check in despite other families that were entering to use the bathroom or already checked in. After calling corporate, we were finally able to get a 5 night stay booked in Wisconsin Dells for their opening day of June 30th despite us having to pay a much higher rate for a comparable room option. Had to reschedule to Wisc dells after hearing about Gurnee location extending closure. Our double queen room cost 392$ for 1 night ( it does include Waterpark tickets, and it was the weekend), but still, It's pretty steep considering the service and accommodations. It literally took 4 people and 20 minutes to get this accomplished, as nobody seemed to have a clue how to do this and a lot of the staff does not understand English. ![]() The Starbucks on the main level had a line a mile long, so I went into the restaurant to order a cup. Food, drinks, ice cream, is super expensive so do yourself a favor and bring crockpots to fix some food in your room. The Waterpark is pretty large and the kids liked it. The kids went to the arcade and after we bought 10$ cards for each of them we learned the ticket counter mechanism on the cards was " broken", so they couldn't redeem any prizes. The rooms are super basic, but they were ready early so that was nice. We booked three rooms over the phone and were told they were right next to each other- upon check in ( the online checkin was " unavailable" and the Great Wolf app is useless so don't bother downloading it), we were told the rooms weren't assigned yet but they'd see what the could do. Look, Wisconsin Dells is designed to siphon money from your pocket and Great Wolf is no different.
